A man, believed to be aged in his 30s, has been airlifted to Wagga Base Hospital after suffering a stab wound at a house in Narrandera on Saturday morning.

"At about 8.20am, officers from Murrumbidgee Police District were called to a house on Helenor Crescent, Narrandera, after reports a man had been injured," a NSW Police Force statement said.
"A man was located with a stab wound to his shoulder and treated by paramedics, before being taken to Wagga Base Hospital.
"An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway."
The man was taken via Toll rescue helicopter to Wagga Base Hospital at about 10:20am on Saturday.
Police are still trying to establish the details of what happened as the victim has not cooperated by explaining how his injuries occurred.
