Emergency services responded to Mallinson Street early on Tuesday afternoon after receiving several call from nearby residents about the blaze.
Flames and smoke were streaming from the roof of the home when firefighters arrived soon after 1.11pm, and it took around an hour for Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Griffith and Yenda to bring it under control.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire, the cause of which is yet to be determined by investigators.
The Mallinson Street fire occurred just 30 hours after a family home was razed in Hay.
Firefighters worked for hours at the Sidonia Road property, which was fully engulfed by flames when they arrived soon after 8am on Monday, but it could not be saved.
The Hay community has rallied around the Jamieson family in the wake of the devastating fire, with a Gofundme raising more than $13,000 in less than two days.
Initial investigations indicate the fire may have started in a bedroom, FRNSW said.
After the Griffith fire, a spokesperson for FRNSWhas urged residents to ensure they take steps to protect their home during winter, and ensure smoke alarms are working, turning off electric blankets at night and keeping clothes at least one metre from heaters.
