While he missed out on taking home one of the feature races, Rawiller's consistency over the two days landed him the Tye Angland Medal for the leading jockey over the carnival.
Rawiller finished on 14.5 points, holding off Wagga Gold Cup-winning jockey Mathew Cahill, who finished a clear second on 12.
Rawiller was honoured to take out the award named in Angland's honour.
"It's great. Obviously I've got a great friendship with Tye over many years. As a jockey I've got a lot of respect for him as a rider and as a bloke I've got even more respect," Rawiller said.
"He's just a champion guy. A great family man so to get that medal is a bloody big thrill."
Rawiller loved every minute of the carnival and vowed to return in the future.
"Loved it. Great people, fantastic track, I'm a bloody big rap for the track. I think it rides like a city track," he said.
"It's outstanding and the curator obviously does a magnificent job with it. Just the space and it gives every horse a chance. You can be held up on heels until the 150 and get a split and still have time to get there. I just think it's a magnificent track.
"The people are great. We had a magnificent night last night with all the jocks, everyone in the district really looked after us. I couldn't be happier. I'll come back for sure."
