Six former Tolland players will line-up for Wagga United when the two teams meet for the first time this season at Rawlings Park on Sunday.
That is not including Wagga United co-coach Aaron Mo'ane, who led the move at the end of last season.
While there will be pride, bragging rights and more on the line, Mo'ane said it was the three points that matter most for Wagga United.
"All the Tolland boys are fired up to prove a point I think," Mo'ane said.
"But more importantly as a club, the whole Wagga United playing base for that first grade team wants to get a win on the board because we definitely should have got the points on the board against Cootamundra and I think if we can get a win against Tolland it will do massive things for us."
Wagga United started the season with a surprise 3-3 draw against Cootamundra and then went down 4-0 to Henwood Park last weekend.
A win is important if the Crows want to keep touch with the Pascoe Cup top four.
At the same time, Mo'ane is looking forward to the rivalry as he, Daniel Lawrence, Jayden Beattie, Aaron Harley, Matthew Kelly, Thomas Sutton and Dom Bertazzo prepare to face their old club.

"It's massive, massive for us and massive for Tolland as well I'd imagine," he said.
"As far as I can remember since I've come to Wagga, it's always the biggest match. It doesn't matter if United's been coming first and Tolland's last, or vice versa, it will always be a close game.
"All the boys are pretty fired up for it too. I know Tolland will be as well."
Key striker Kai Watts is unlikely to play on Sunday due to Australian rules commitments.
Lawrence will return from a hamstring problem, prompting a reshuffle of the Wagga United line-up.
He will move into the defensive midfield role, with Harry Trevaskis to move into the attacking central midfield role. Declan Rohrich will move to striker.
"We've got DL coming in and we've had a bit of a reshuffle in the midfield, which will liven things up a bit I think," Mo'ane said.
Mo'ane said the main message this week has been about ball control.
"We should be able to play a bit more to feet and keep control of the ball because I thought against Henwood Park, when we kept the ball, we were a much better team," he said.
"I thought we played better football than Henwood when we had the ball at our feet. It was just cheap turnovers. So I've stressed that at training this week that it's got to be to feet. We can't be turning it over like that. It doesn't matter if it's Tolland or Cootamundra, we'll be punished for that."
