The Demons put in a strong effort, particularly in contested ball, against Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong last weekend, and trailed by just three points at half-time before being overrun to go down by 71.
Key position player Blake Harper missed the match with a niggling hamstring injury he's carried throughout the start of the season, headlining a handful of key outs for the side.
They have a golden chance to grab their second win of the year when they travel to winless Narrandera on Sunday.
"Blake's done something in his hamstring, I believe. He's had it all year and it's flared up a bit, we're getting it looked at," Somerville said.
"If we get four quarters out of us I think we'd be a decent match-up for them (GGGM), but there's a bit to work on there."
Collingullie-Glenfield Park will be without Dusty Rogers after he accepted a one-match ban with an early guilty plea for striking Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong's Matt Hamblin.
