A man accused of kidnapping another man with the intention of holding him to ransom last year will face trial in Wagga District Court.

Michael William Carr was arrested in August and charged with a string of offences that prosecutors will allege he committed in May last year.
He appeared in Wagga Local Court on Wednesday after he pleaded not guilty to all offences.
Madeleine Mulvaney, a solicitor for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, told Magistrate Christopher Halburd the case would be committed for trial.

The 20-year-old is accused of kidnapping a man about 3am on May 16 at Forest Hill with the intent to hold them for ransom.
It is also alleged Mr Carr, a Mount Austin man, broke into a home earlier that same morning at Estella and stole credit cards, membership cards, keys, wallets, and some Valium and Panadeine Forte tablets.
Mr Carr has been charged with two counts of break and enter dwelling in company, two counts of robbery armed with an offensive weapon, and break and enter dwelling house or building and commit a serious indictable offence.
He also faces charges of steal motor vehicle, take person with intent to hold to ransom, take and drive conveyance car without the consent of owner, take and drive conveyance, and aggravated break and enter.
Mr Carr will appear in Wagga District Court on June 4 for arraignment, where the judge will set a date for the trial to begin.
