RESIDENTS around the Snowy Mountains region were left feeling unsteady after an earthquake shook the ground near Jindabyne today.
The earthquake recorded a magnitude of 3.2 just after 10am on Tuesday along Alpine Way at Crackenback.
According to reports by those in the area, some said it sounded like a brief explosion, while others said it was noticeable enough to wake them from a nap.
