Backing up from a 12-0 FFA Cup drubbing on Wednesday night, the Wanderers were unable to turn things around quickly enough and fell to Weston Molongo in the bottom of the table clash at Woden Park.
The Wanderers were again on the back foot early as Phakedi Manda put the home team up in the 10th minute of the game.
The Wanderers went into half-time 1-0 down but quickly conceded to begin the second half.
Goals to Andrew Sellers in the 47th minute and Angus Reckord in the 55th minute put Weston Molonglo in full control at 3-0 up.
However the Wanderers were able to get one back through Grant Jenkins in the 80th minute.
It was Jenkins' first senior appearance for the year and he brought up the Wanderers first goal of the NPL Two season and in 440 minutes of football.
The 3-1 loss leaves the Wanderers on the bottom of the NPL Two table and the only club not to enjoy a win so far this season.
The Wanderers under 23s also went down, losing 2-0, but they sit mid-table with a win and a draw to their names.
The Wanderers will again be on the road next week when they travel to take on the powerful Queanbeyan City FC at High Street on Saturday.
