Director and founder of Freeroam Theatre, 26-year-old Jhi Rayner, has been working on the fully improvised performance of TOME since last year.
It premiered at the Art State Wagga 2020 and next week, it will return to the Playhouse Theatre for a two-night reprise before traveling on to become part of the Anywhere Festival in Brisbane.
But this time, instead of seven cast members, the curtain will rise on just five.
"It's completely improvised even down to the lighting, without even a prompt from the audience," Mr Rayner said.
"The first performer comes on stage and makes up something and everyone supports that idea. It can have twists, turns, it can be sad, poignant, depending on what happens."
The performances will take place next Monday and Tuesday from 7.30pm, with tickets available via the Freeroam Theatre Facebook page.
But, with the entire performance being completely unscripted, each night will be a completely different show.
"There's something magical about creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience," Mr Rayner said.
"It's all raw and off-the-cuff, it's unique. It's a great feeling to create a world around you in a room where no one knows what's going to happen."

Each performer in the show is an alumnus of Charles Sturt University's creative industries course, with several having completed their degrees in Wagga.
After the announcement that many components of the degree type would be phased out from the university's Wagga campus, last year Mr Rayner and his fellow alumni started an online petition to save the course.
This being the first official stage show produced by the newly-formed Freeroam Theatre, Mr Rayner said it was symbolic to have the cast be entirely from the regional university.
"That's really exciting," Mr Rayner said.
"The fight [for the degree] is still kicking."
