The sedan knocked over part of a brick wall that divided a home's yard from the street before being left between two trees and torched, causing extensive damage to its interior as well as impact damage to the front.
Firefighters from Turvey Park Fire and Rescue NSW were called to the scene, on Anne Street in Tolland, at 3.58am on Saturday, arrived at 4.04am and had the fire extinguished by 4.25am.
A neighbour of the home that was damaged during the incident, who asked not to be named, said nothing like this had happened in the street during the four years he had lived there.
"I was woken up around quarter to four by the sound of someone driving on flat tyres," he said.
"I heard the bang when the car hit the wall and then I heard a bang when they lit it up."

The neighbour said he did not see the car's occupants but said a resident across the street "saw a few young blokes running away".
Riverina Police District did not have an officer available to comment on the incident prior to publication.
