Featuring a host of first grade regulars in the Riverina and Farrer Leagues, TRAC were far too classy with Luke Fellows finishing with three goals, and Joe Perryman backed up his four on debut for Collingullie-Glenfield Park on the weekend with five.
Tom Holden was impressive in the second half and finished with three majors as did Luke Fellows.
"I thought it was a good game. Kooringals' pressure was good throughout and our TRAC boys played pretty well also," TRAC coach Mick Glanvill said.
"I liked the way we moved the ball and or unselfishness was good. The backline held up pretty well and used the ball well coming out of halfback.
"I think it will be tough against the catholic schools (Kildare and Mater Dei), I don't think there will be too much between them and ourselves."
Billy Glanvill may be in some doubt for Turvey Park this weekend after he headed to hospital after suffering a gash just under his eye in the first quarter.
IN OTHER NEWS
"Bill is going to hospital now, I don't know whether he'll need stitches or not but hopefully not," Mick Glanvill said.
Perryman said the match was a chance to road test a few things before things get tougher later in the competition.
"It's the first time we've played in a while and it's good to get our campaign off to a good start," he said.
"We've got some good players and have got a few out as well, so hopefully we can keep improving each game."
Meanwhile Kildare also hammered Wagga High School by 131 points, with hulking forward Nick Madden dominating with seven goals.
Kildare coach Peter Gaffney said they there is plenty of room for growth left in the team after the 20-goals-to-zero win.
"I never underestimate the other schools because the beauty is you don't know what you're up against," he said.
"We were a bit scrappy and we've got a long way to go. It was a comfortable win but it was nowhere near where we need to be.
"We know TRAC are good, they're the premiers and the ones we have to knock off, but they're beatable."
