The 14-tries-to-one win followed a 54-10 round one rout of Albury, but Sunday's results set up a mouth-watering third round clash when Young hosts fellow unbeaten side Kangaroos.
With the three Cornish brothers in their spine - fullback Nick, halfback Mitch and five-eighth Nick - pulling the strings on the back of their forwards' work, the Cherrypickers were far too classy for Brothers.
Jake Hogan scored three tries and Nick Cornish a double as Young prepare for a tough three weeks ahead against the Kangaroos, Tumut and Southcity.
"The draw hasn't done us any favours, other than finding a bit of fitness and some combinations, but it's about to get tougher with a top of the table game against the Kangaroos," Young coach Nick Hall said.

"It's a different type of footy for us now, sides who are going to push back a bit more and some set for set footy.
"We're going to be challenged, and we need to tough it out for longer periods. But even in a score like 78, and the previous week against Albury, I challenged the boys to play simple footy and I think we did that."
Hall reserved praise for Brothers counterpart James Hay, who played off the bench in Brothers' 74-0 loss in reserve grade before he was one of his team's best in the main game.
"They probably were already short on troops to start the season and have a few guys out injured and suspended," Hall said.
"James Hay sits on the bench in reserve grade and played 20 or 30 minutes. It shows what type of bloke he is and the club they've got right now, it's setting the standard on how to be a clubman.
"It's a huge effort in a couple of losing sides to put the ego away for the club. And he played terrific in first grade, he's showing the way as a young coach."
