James Lawton proved he's no one-hit wonder in his return to football, inspiring Marrar to a powerhouse second half performance at Charles Sturt University on Saturday, and an 88-point win.

Lawton had kicked three up until half-time at Peter Hastie Oval as the Bushpigs rose to the challenge of tackling the Bombers and looked to be in the game.
But the star forward finished the game with a staggering 10 goals (and five behinds) as Marrar got right on top in the third quarter and then finished with a dazzling final term to run out winners 19.16 (130) to 6.6 (42).
It backed up a brilliant performance from Lawton in his first game in the Farrer League, when he kicked six goals on debut for Marrar against the Northern Jets last week.
"He's playing pretty good footy. He kicked a bit of a bag but he's enjoying being part of the team," Marrar coach Shane Lenon said.
"A lot of people judge his game on his goals, and he's kicking goals, but I'm judging him on the team stuff and that's what's impressive to me, the way he's bringing teammates into the game."
With ruckman Andrew Dickins very impressive again, CSU were less than a goal down at quarter-time, and just 15 points off the pace at the main break.
"Rivcoll turned up to play. We expected it to be tough and it was tough, they applied plenty of pressure," Lenon said.
"We absorbed what they threw at us and led by a couple of goals at half-time. But that was important, that we absorbed it and withstood the pressure."
But after the break, the Bombers opened up, moving the ball quicker through the middle and offering better options and angles in their forward line.
Lawton was instrumental but Zach Walgers too, who finished with four, as Marrar put on five goals in the third term and then kicked 9.5 in the last to CSU's solitary goal.
Skipper Jackson Moye led by example and Jack and Harry Reynolds had big games across half-back. Jack's injection into the middle after half-time also paid dividends as he and Toby Lawler lifted the energy.
"He and Toby gave us a bit of a spark. They've got leg speed and they take the game on," Lenon said.
He believes the Bombers' fitness has played a big part in their first two rounds and the back-to-back victories set up a mouthwatering top-of-the-table clash against The Rock-Yerong Creek next week.
"They're obviously playing real good footy and it's the annual Anzac Day clash. It'll be a big game and a big test for us. We're excited by it all," he said.
The Bombers came through unscathed.
CSU's Lachie Moore was battered and bruised but put in another big game for his side and Wade Archibald was dangerous at times.
