After a year affected by an ankle injury Riley Corbett bagged four, George Alexander and Jack McCaig kicked three, while goalsneak Kai Watts tore the Eagles' defence apart in his first game for the Lions.
The Lions set up the win with five unanswered goals in the first term and six unanswered in the third quarter.
"It's good to get some confidence into the key forwards early and I thought they worked really well," Martyn said.
"They made space for each other. Our ball movement and pressure was good, but our fourth quarter (where Narrandera kicked four goals to two) wasn't great.
"Kai was good today (in his first game for the club), just his natural ability to find the footy. His disposal is elite, the way he spots up other forwards, and gets in under their feet as well.
"With three or four (players) coming back next week, it's going to be tough at selection and there'll be some unlucky players.
"It was really pleasing. It was a lot of the unknown today because we didn't know what Narrandera have."
