Dikkenberg was forced to settle for second place in both the under 12 boys singles and doubles at the Australian Claycourt Championships at Lyneham.
Lleyton Hewitt's son, Cruz, proved Dikkenberg's undoing.
Hewitt was watching on as Cruz, the number one seed, defeated Dikkenberg, the seventh seed, in the singles final 6-1, 6-2.
It completed a brilliant tournament from young Hewitt, where he never dropped a set.
To make the final, Dikkenberg enjoyed wins over the second and fifth seeds.
Dikkenberg and Cody Atkinson lost the under 12 boys doubles title to Hewitt and Asher Brownrigg 6-2 2-6 10-5.
Despite narrowly missing the titles, Dikkenberg was stoked with his results, that saw him finish in the top two in Australia in the 12 and under division.
