Colin and Tracey Crowe have been preparing to open a Pinot and Picasso on Baylis Street in mid-April.
"You come and learn how to paint an artwork, all while sipping on your favourite beverage," Mrs Crowe said.
"Our talented artist guides you through a step by step, even if it seems like the most complicated painting.
"Then when you leave, you get to walk out with a masterpiece that you love and are proud of."
Mrs Crowe's son, James, and his business partner, Aaron, were the brains behind Pinot and Picasso and opened their first shop in Penrith.
"Since then, they have grown to over 42 studios in Australia," she said.
"My husband and I thought it was such an amazing idea that we bought Camden, Balmain and now Wagga."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mrs Crowe said people are always looking for that "something to do" rather than just going to the pub or meal, and the pandemic has fueled that desire.
She added that clients have passed on feedback that because the studio is BYO alcohol, it helps budding artists manage the costs.
The couple has visited the Riverina multiple times with a motorcyclist group.
"We come down quite often to enjoy the local produce and local wine, and everyone makes you feel so welcome," Mrs Crowe said.
"We just knew it would be perfect for our next location."
Mrs Crowe said they are also passionate about teaming up with local businesses. She said they are working with Lavish Riverina for catering.
