Riverina police officers were called to Elm Drive, Tumut this morning following reports of the driver's dangerous behaviour.
The officers spoke to the 19-year-old driver of a white utility, and he was issued a field court attendance notice for an aggravated burnout.

The man's provisional license was suspended and his vehicle seized at the scene.
He will face court in Tumut on May 10.
Riverina Highway Patrol acting inspector Brett Collins said it was the prompt reporting by locals that allowed police to intervene.
"By reporting this behaviour as it is occurring, police are able to attend swiftly and deal with the driver on the spot," he said.
"Police are fed up with this kind of behaviour, as it is not only dangerous, but puts other innocent members of the community at risk."
