Wagga Highway Patrol were alerted to reports of a sedan colliding with a truck at the roundabout of Kooringal Road and Hammond Avenue on Monday night.
Acting Sergeant Jamie Mooney said it is believed the vehicles entered the roundabout at the same time, came into contact with one another, and leaving the sedan needing to be towed.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It is very fortunate no one was injured during this collision, and everyone was able to walk away from the accident," he said.
While police don't yet know who was at fault, Acting Sergeant Mooney said there were lessons to be learned on both ends.
"Heavy vehicles do need to take up a lot of space when going through roundabouts or intersections," he said.
"They are lawfully allowed to take up two lanes, but, on the other hand, truck drivers do need to be aware of their blind spots and take car around other vehicles."
