Built by Richard Jarick in 1936 in the style of a Spanish mission, the NSW Australian Institute of Architects Chapter has listed the five-bedroom home as a building of significance.
Selling agent Shaun Lowry from Fitzpatricks Real Estate said the home has been passed through many well-known families and professionals over the years, and he predicted the home would be in high demand this time around.

"It's definitely a home that commands attention, we're expecting very good response on the market with the block size," he said.
Mr Lowry said any lot over 1000 square metres in Central Wagga and Turvey Park drew excitement, and this property was nearly three times that at 2884 square metres.
"Originally the home had a tennis court at the back ... there's definitely the room to put it back, plus a pool and a shed," he said.
A price guide is yet to be determined for the property, but Mr Lowry said he was expecting it to fall in with the growing list of central homes selling comfortably over the million dollar mark.
Inside the home, Mr Lowry said it had been "very well kept throughout time," with a lot of the period features retained with modern additions in the form of heating, cooling, modern appliances and double-glazed windows.
"It's got a real good mix of old and new," he said.
Manicured gardens including a large privacy hedge, a balcony overlooking the city, a separate rumpus room and two sheds are some of the extensive features of the home.
The auction date is set for April 10.
