POLICE have charged a Riverina man allegedly in the possession of cocaine and thousands of dollars in cash.

Officers from the Riverina Police District stopped the driver of a white Toyota Hilux about 12.30pm on Wednesday along Burley Griffith Way, near Wallendbeen.
The random breath test led to to a search of the vehicle, where officers allegedly located and seized an amount of cocaine, $23,000 in cash and e-cigarettes.

The 47-year-old male passenger was arrested and taken to Cootamundra Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug, deal with property proceeds of crime, and possess prescribed restricted substance.
All items seized will undergo forensic examination.
The Ingleburn man was granted strict conditional bail to appear in Cootamundra Local Court on Friday, April 9, as inquiries continue.
