Emergency services from across the city raced out to Forest Hill after being called just before 4.20pm.
Several crews of paramedics responded to "reports of an emergency landing", a spokesperson for NSW Ambulance confirmed, before it "glided into the airport".
"Just after 4pm we all got reports of a jet with a throttle stuck on approaching Wagga," the organisation's Riverina inspector Eamonn Purcell said.
"Everyone assembled and the aircraft landed safely.
"Paramedics assessed about two people on the plane and everyone was fine.
"(It was) a fantastic emergency service response and great teamwork for everyone involved."

Fire and Rescue Riverina Zone Commander Superintendent Stewart Alexander said FRNSW, the Rural Fire Service, the SES, the Volunteer Rescue Association, paramedics and police were all ready and waiting to deal with whatever happened.
"But, fortunately, we were not needed," Superintendent Alexander said.
"This was an ordinary response for this type of call-out. Fortunately it appears the plane landed safely."
