On Friday afternoon, firefighters from The Gap, Tooyal and Downside Rural Fire Brigades attended a shed fire.
Riverina's Rural Fire Service operational officer Bradley Stewart said the hay inside was two years old, and a prime mover and other machinery were also there.
"All the contents were a complete loss," he said.

"It would have been somewhere between $3000 to $5000."
The fire burnt down overnight was pulled apart by an excavator with suppression operations currently underway.
A 36-tonne excavator is being used to separate the burning material from debris supported by Riverina Bulk Water and several tankers from local brigades.
Officer Stewart said crews are still monitoring the smouldering pile, which will take a few days to die out.
He added that the fire's cause is not confirmed, but it was unlikely to be spontaneous combustion.
"On this occasion, it appears it was an electrical fault," officer Stewart said.
"We will just allow the hay to burn itself out now.
"We are on the back end of the season, so the risk is somewhat benign."
