The two sides, who won't meet until the final round, are yet to do battle after they weren't scheduled to play each other during the Saints' maiden campaign last year.
They were near certain to play in the grand final given they were both unbeaten, but COVID forced officials to abandon the season before the decider could take place.
Both teams have won all three of their games comfortably thus far, and CSU will look to continue that momentum against Brookdale at Peter Hastie Oval on Friday night.
They have conceded just one goal all season, and have kept Collingullie-Glenfield Park and Narrandera scoreless the past two weeks.
Barrow said he has urged his team not to take the foot off the pedal in the blowouts.
"I've definitely put it on the girls in those games that the way we respect the new teams and help them get better is we don't drop off," he said.
"It's been a good opportunity to change the team around and put girls in different positions. But I challenged them to maintain that intensity, keep attacking the footy and play our style.
"We've got a lot of new girls this year and we're trying them in different positions. Everyone's having a go at different roles."
CSU and North Wagga are scheduled to play on March 24, which will be a stand-alone clash on a Wednesday.
"The girls that were around last year are really keen to play North Wagga as there was a fair build-up last year being two undefeated teams, so hopefully we'll be able to get a shot this year," Barrow said.
"We've had a fair bit of turnover but the girls who have stuck around want to give them a crack. We've tried to build it up that it's going to be a big game, but we have to work toward it one week at a time."
