One of the two eastbound lanes on Hammond Avenue was closed near Nesbitt Street following the collision, which drew to the scene soon after 8am.
The collision occurred on the stretch of the highway leading up to Marshall's Creek Bridge, where the four lanes tapers to two.
At least one vehicle, a silver Subaru sedan, has been loaded onto a tow truck, and an oil spill on the road had been cleared by firefighters.
NSW Live Traffic lists the stretch of road as being under moderate traffic conditions.
Commuters were advised to exercise caution and allow extra travel time as work was undertaken to clear the road, which was fully reopened by 8.40am.
Turvey Park FRNSW station commander Jeff Edwards said the incident had been resolved within 30 minutes.
"There was a bit of traffic chaos there, because it is a highway. We closed off one of the lanes for the safety of everyone and slowed down traffic," he said.
"Everyone was accounted for with no injuries. Police were on the scene and tested for drugs and alcohol - nil from that."
The first witness to arrive on the scene was Josh Dorahy, who was working just across the road from the crash.
"The truck with the telegraph pole was turning out of Essential Energy. The lady just didn't see the trailer and hit the side of it," Mr Dorahy said.
"She was all right."
