The ten-year-old South Wagga Public School student set new benchmarks in the 11 years 50m breaststroke (43.98 secs); 50m backstroke (39.29) and 50m freestyle (31.98), and also smashed the senior medley record (2:47.86).
"It feels good to break the records. My big goal is to at least get a couple of medals at the junior state titles, which are in two weeks in Sydney," Labara said.
"It's always been my dream to make an Olympics. I saw Jamie (Mooney, Wagga Swim Club clubmate) make the trials and it motivated me to maybe try and reach his level in a few years."
Labara claimed the 11 years boys age championship to help South Wagga claim overall honours, with Kooringal Public School second and Wagga Public School third.
North Wagga's Reegan Edwards also broke a record in the 50m butterfly (39.59 secs) on her way to the junior girls age championship.
Other age champions at the carnival were Kooringal Public School's Tayla Lawrence (senior girls); South Wagga's Molly Kendall (11 years girls); South Wagga's Hamish Inglis (senior boys) and Wagga Public School's Hamish Beggs (junior boys).
The Riverina PSSA carnival will be held at Leeton on Wednesday next week.
