Peter Parker tragically died in a car accident on February 16, 2021, on the outskirts of Wagga near Downside.
The 44-year-old father of three has been remembered as "the life of the party" - a trait which was reflected at his funeral on Tuesday afternoon where attendees dressed in their favourite superhero costumes in his memory.
Peter's mother Diane Parker shared stories of his younger years and journey into fatherhood in her eulogy, recollecting his passion for life.
"To [Peter's] friends, he was the life of the party," she said.
"He was always clowning around with his mates, he loved to party and especially loved to get dressed up."
Spiderman, as he was fondly known to friends and family, had a "love for superhero characters and Star Wars", according to Mrs Parker.
"He loved his Lego, and he was always very proud of his work," she said.
"He'd spend hours making model star ships with his children."
But what Peter was most proud of was his three children.
"I remember the day he rang to say he was going to be a dad," Mrs Parker said.
"Theodore, our 10th grandchild, was born and Peter was such a devoted father.
"Then two years later, he had the twins, Athena and Darius, and he loved them with everything he had."
Mrs Parker said her son was "forever involved" in activities with his children, from becoming their soccer coach at the Wagga Warriors, to stepping out of his comfort zone and busting a move.
"The funniest thing I remember was seeing Pete doing ballet dancing with Athena at one of her concerts," she said.
"Seeing him with his hands up and his toes pointed, he was one very proud dad."
Peter Parker will forever be in the hearts of his loved ones, including parents Diane and Reg Parker, his siblings Steven, Christopher and Bronwyn, and children Theodore, Athena and Darius.
"I guess God needed a superhero in heaven to protect all," Mrs Parker said.
"We can imagine him swinging from cloud to cloud with his webs, always ready to defend all, watching from above to keep us safe.
"Fly high Spiderman, you'll always be with us in our hearts."
