NSW Labor has joined the calls release independent reports on demerging Snowy Valleys and Cootamundra Gundagai Regional councils.

Opposition local government spokesman Greg Warren said the Boundaries Commission's reports on the proposals must be made public in the interests of transparency.
"There is no reason whatsoever that the entire contents of the findings should not be made available to the public," he said.
"These communities - in particular Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council - have been left in a dire financial state due to this bungled forced mergers policy.
"For once the Minister needs to be open and transparent with these communities."
Local Government Minister Shelley Hancock received the reports last week.
Nationals Cootamundra MP Steph Cooke has called for the Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council report to be released.
A spokesperson for Ms Hancock said the government was "aware of the community's expectations that this process is completed in a reasonable timeframe to provide certainty to the council and local residents".
