Wagga Highway Patrol were conducting stationery speed enforcement in Turvey Park around 4.47pm on Thursday when they saw a green Ford Falcon heading towards them clearly travelling at above the 50 kilometres per hour speed limit.
Officers recorded the vehicle's speed at 135km/h and stopped the vehicle shortly after.

While inspecting the car, officers found the tyres to be well worn and a number of other safety issues.
The 29-year-old driver was fined for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h and had his license suspended on the spot for six months.
He was also fined in relation to the vehicle's safety issues, with the car's registration confiscated for three months.
