The soccer fields at Duke of Kent have been alive throughout the past couple of Thursdays and Fridays as students from 16 primary schools got involved.
The weather was kind for both the stage two and stage three events for boys and girls.
The teams play four or five games in a day against teams in their pool, but the focus is on enjoyment rather than trophies.
"The aim is just to get kids playing and a lot of schools get involved," Football Wagga development officer Kyle Yeates said.
"There was definitely some really quality players out there and not just the kids we know of through our rep teams or locally in soccer but kids who play AFL or other sports. You can see they're really natural sports people."
While the winter football codes are gearing up for another season, Yeates said it's not just an exercise in trying to convert the masses.
"We're here to promote physical activity, we're not pushing them to convert," Yeates said.
"If there are kids unsure about sport or what they want to play, it could be a bit of guideance. If they decide to play club soccer that's good, but it's not the priority."
