Labor's Ali France will have a second crack at trying to boot Peter Dutton out of parliament at the next federal election.

Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese visited Brisbane with Ms France on Friday to announce her preselection.
"I'm not somebody who gives up easily and, after 20 years of Peter Dutton, I am hoping to convince the people of Dickson that it's time for a change," she told reporters in Brisbane.
The disability and refugee advocate had a leg amputated in 2011 after a car accident.
Mr Dutton quoted former Labor prime minister Paul Keating in his 2019 election night speech, declaring defeating Ms France was "the sweetest victory of all".
He increased his margin to 4.6 per cent on a two-party preferred basis.
The battle reached fever pitch when the failed Liberal leadership challenger said Ms France was using her disability as an excuse not to move into the electorate.
Mr Dutton later apologised for the gaffe.
Ms France has now bought a house within the boundaries.
A recent Morgan poll showed Labor's fortunes were improving in Queensland after a dismal showing in 2019.
After a 6.4 per cent swing to Labor, the LNP is leading statewide 52-48 on a two-party basis.
