At 3.50pm on Thursday afternoon, Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to a crash at the intersection of Fitzmaurice and Travers Street.
Police and ambulance were on scene, with one vehicle severely damaged in the incident.
FRNSW were tasked with cleaning an oil spill across the road from the vehicle.
They also provided fire protection while paramedics treated one person at the scene.
The damaged vehicle was towed from the site.
FRNSW were there for about half an hour and rendered the area safe before about 4.40pm, with traffic flowing freely before 5.
