The St Michaels captain is heading back home to England after three seasons with the club and is looking to elongate his stay just a little more.

The Saints are on the cusp of a finals berth but need to upset minor premiers South Wagga at Robertson Oval on Saturday, and still have results go their way, to finish in the top four.

A drought-breaking win over Wagga RSL kept them in the hunt but after falling short against Wagga City last week, and Frostick hopes they can go that little bit better against the form team of the competition.

"We know what is at stake and we know what we have to do, the boys are preparing well this week and it is just a matter of putting all our skills together," Frostick said.

"As a team we want to hit 200 with the bat as I think that is what has let us down pretty much the whole year.

"A couple of people get runs but the rest aren't following.

"If we can get a handy contribution from the whole 11 it should put us in good stead."

However no other Saints batsman reached 30 in either game.

Frostick is hoping the side can build around his return to form.

"The way Wardy played he just made the job easier for the other guys around him," he said.

"To lose him at the stage we did (against Wagga) when it was 2-100 was a little unfortunate as if he had of stayed around for another five to 10 overs it probably would have taken the game away from that.

"However that's cricket and we just needed the boys to create another partnership, which we couldn't really do."

Saints are only percentage behind fourth-placed Kooringal Colts, who tackle Wagga City in the final round, but won't be at full strength with Blake Larkin struggling with a hamstring complaint while Brad Koetz will miss the clash.

After struggling with a groin complaint last week, Jack Reynolds is expected to take his place in the side but whether he is able to bowl is yet to be determined.

"He had a little problem with his groin but he is good to go," Frostick said.

"Even if he can't bowl we will have him with the bat, which is good."
