Mr Chaplin was last seen, aged 25, in Gerogery in early to mid-May 2010.
Police commenced an investigation in August 2019, almost a decade after he disappeared, through Strike Force Demetrius.
Detectives and specialist forensic officers executed a search warrant on a rural Georgery Road property off the Olympic Highway in August 2019.
Officers located Mr Chaplin's body in a shallow grave.

In September 2019, a 25-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were arrested and charged over the alleged murder. They remain before the courts.
Earlier today, police arrested a 50-year-old man at a Sydney correctional facility.
He was charged with murder and was remanded in custody to appear in Albury Local Court on February 23.
