Update 4.10pm:
A REGIONAL Express aircraft has made an emergency landing at Wagga Airport.
A spokesperson from Fire and Rescue NSW said the Saab 340B made it safely to the ground, with all passengers appearing to be unharmed.
The cause of the emergency landing remains unknown at this stage.
Earlier:
EMERGENCY services have flooded Wagga Airport after reports of an aircraft about to make an emergency landing.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson confirmed one Wagga crew was in attendance at the airstrip, arriving about 3.30pm on Thursday.
"The aircraft called in to say it was making an emergency landing so our crew is on scene alongside a NSW Rural Fire Service crew as well," they said.
NSW Ambulance also confirmed they were in attendance following similar reports of the emergency landing.
Police are on scene as the Regional Express Saab 340B aircraft circles in a holding pattern.
Authorities have not yet been confirmed what is causing the need for an emergency landing, or when it will touch down.
