Ten records fell at the Wagga City and Country Deanery swimming carnival, with about 300 students from 10 schools competing for spots at next month's diocesan trials.

Mater Dei duo, Abbie Donelan and Tom Swann, were standouts from the city students, setting records and taking out the senior age champion titles.
Donelan broke a six-year-old record in the 100 metre freestyle and two three-year-old records; the 50m freestyle and 200m individual medley.
Swann set a new mark in the 50m butterfly.
From the country schools, Joey Maloney from St Michael's, Coolamon stood out with records in the 11 years 100m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and 50m backstroke as well as the senior 200m individual medley.
St Joseph's, Lockhart students Catherine Bowyer and Macey Matthews set 50m breaststroke and 100m freestyle records respectively.
