To 7am on Saturday morning, Wagga recorded 63.4mm from the overnight storm cell.
Nearby in Kapooka, there were falls of up to 69.4mm.
West Wyalong received a generous helping of 56.2mm, while Albury recorded 37.8mm.
Narrandera lost out on some of the bigger falls, recording just 9.8mm overnight.

The NSW State Emergency Service received 39 call-outs in Wagga overnight.
At 9pm on Friday, SES crews rescued a family from flood waters in Turvey Park. A spokesperson for the SES said ground water had begun flowing through the home.
Across the Riverina, there were 47 call outs, mostly to deal with overland flooding, flooding of gutters and fallen trees.
At Lacmalac near Tumut, the Goobarragandra River has risen with the rain, prompting a warning from the SES that the area may experience minor flooding.
The Tumut River is expected to exceed the two-metre minor flood level around midday on Saturday, and may continue to rise to 2.10 metres soon after.
