A severe storm warning for heavy rain and damaging winds was in place for much of the day as a low pressure trough over inland NSW delivered unsettled conditions.
In other news:
Narrandera recorded 47 millimetres of rain between 7am and 8.30pm. The town's average rainfall total for January is about 34mm.
In Wagga, 29.8mm was recorded at the airport between 9am and 8.10pm, with 23.2mm tipped out of the gauge at Kapooka during the same period.

Elsewhere in the region, 23.6mm was recorded in Griffith.
The Bureau of Meteorology is warning a rough of low pressure over inland NSW is bringing unsettled weather conditions.
The weather bureau issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 8.44pm for the region's north.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours.
Locations which may be affected include Parkes, Young, West Wyalong, Griffith, Cobar and Ivanhoe.
