Another One returned from a short break with an impressive trial win at Wagga.
The talented three-year-old, a last start Highway winner at Randwick, is considered by many as the number one seed for next month's $150,000 SDRA Country Championships Qualifier (1400m) at Wagga.
Another One trialed with blinkers for the first time and Colvin was happy with the hit-out.
"I was pretty happy," Colvin said.
"We threw the blinkers on and he settled nice. With the blinkers on, they can over-race but he was good.
"He done exactly what we wanted him to do so we were very happy."
Another One will head to the Class Three Highway Handicap at Randwick on February 6 as his final lead-up run before the feature on February 20.
Tom Sherry is booked for the Highway ride, with Nick Heywood to ride at Wagga.

TWO of the Southern District's top Country Championships contenders will clash two weeks before the main event.
Albury trainer Mitch Beer will also contest the Highway Handicap at Randwick on February 6 with his leading hope, Mnementh.
The four-year-old produced an eye-catching first-up run at Canberra last week, running second behind Eltham Palace.
Beer has booked James McDonald to ride Mnementh at Randwick.
"He's my best hope," Beer said of Mnementh.
"Having had Sky Call last year, he's going better than Sky Call was last year, 100 per cent.
"He's been set for this race since he won on Albury Cup day last year."
Beer has applied to Racing NSW for exemptions for Branders Rule and Scout, with the pair victims of the changed criteria. He also has a couple of horses on the fringe that may head that way, the likes of Shadow Company and Snowbella.

RACING NSW stewards and investigators carried out a stable inspection of a property on the outskirts of Wagga on Tuesday morning.
While the matter has been adjourned, the inspection resulted in the scratching of four horses from the Brett Lazzarini stable that were due to race at Wagga later in the day.
It is believed Lazzarini had stabled the horses overnight at the unregistered Alfredtown property, as he had done previously, on his way to the Wagga meeting.
The matter has been adjourned to a date to be fixed.

STEWARDS were forced to intervene in a dispute between jockeys Bradley Vale and Winona Costin at Wagga on Tuesday.
It began during The Daily Advertiser Class One & Maiden Plate (1600m) when Costin was having trouble restraining Hiroko, when racing to the inside of Vale on Lucky To His Mates.
Evidence found that Vale held his position, as to ride competitively, rather than shifting wider on the track to help Costin shift out.
Stewards told Vale that given Costin was in serious difficulty and at risk of clipping heels, he must prioritise the safety of his fellow rider and should have shifted out to provide relief.
He was also warned that should be adopt similar tactics again when a fellow rider is in serious danger, he would be referred to the licensing committee, concerning his fitness as a jockey to ride in races.
Stewards then had to deal with a complaint from Vale in regards to Costin's alleged conduct in the hall outside of the official's area.
After taking evidence, stewards ruled that the nature of the agreed evidence did not warrant any direct action be taken against Costin.
