Scott played a leading hand in Penrith's thrilling one-run semi-final win over Blacktown Mounties at Joe McAleer Reserve in Sydney on Tuesday.
Scott top-scored for Penrith with 82 off 75 balls in their total of 8-272 from 50 overs.
The 16-year-old was adjudged LBW just 18 runs short of his century.
Blacktown Mounties fell one-run short in the chase, finishing 8-271.
Scott's Penrith team will now take on Northern District in the grand final at Mark Taylor Oval on Sunday.
His latest innings took him to third on the competition run scorers list with 380 runs at an average of 47.50.
Earlier this week, Scott said regardless of how the semi-final played out, he has thoroughly enjoyed the experience playing in the prestigious Green Shield.
"It's been a good experience. They say it is one of the best under 16 competitions in NSW," he said.
"There is really good facilities, coaches, everything is really good. All the boys I've played with are humble and good blokes."
The grand final appearance means Scott is unlikely to play for South Wagga in Saturday's first-grade day-night encounter against Lake Albert at Robertson Oval.
Scott has also been in brilliant touch for the Blues, averaging 79 with the bat in the first grade one-day competition, as well as 72.5 in under 16s.
