THREE people have been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a tree at Henty.

Officers from the Murray River Police District were called to the Olympic Highway near Railway Parade about 10.40pm on Saturday after reports a Nissan Tiida had hit a tree.
A 27-year-old male driver managed to free himself from the wreckage, while the two passengers - a 22-year-old man in the front and 21-year-old man in the rear - were trapped in the car for a short time before members of the public came to help.
Emergency services arrived and the three men were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
The 22-year-old man was taken to Albury Hospital before being air lifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
The other two men were taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police are now calling on anyone with dashcam vision or who may have witnessed the crash and not yet spoken to police to come forward.
