The Eagles opted not to participate in this year's AFL Riverina Championships, which featured just six teams, and the club's senior netball coordinator Kelly Stockdale said the hiatus may have played a part in the slower-than-usual progress in getting players and coaches back into the fold.
A meeting will be held in the clubrooms on Wednesday night in an attempt to fill a handful of key positions still left vacant, including the presidency after Mark Savage stepped down after four years in the role in November.
At the time, Savage said he was keen for some fresh young blood to take on more responsibility on the committee.
Stockdale said the lack of coaches is no reason to panic, and past experience suggests the roles will be filled before the season begins in April.
"We've been worse off, we've been closer to the start date before and had no coaches, so there's still time up our sleeve," she said.
"Usually when school goes back people get into their routines again, and we should be fine.
"We generally get quite a few volunteers putting their hands up to do other jobs, but when it comes to coaching roles they're a bit more hesitant.
"We're willing to take on anyone. We do have a few experienced players and coaches within the club if someone wants to have a go, and there's courses out there too to get the skills needed, we just need people to put their hand up."
Stockdale said the year off has likely made the process more difficult.
"This time last season when we still thought we were playing, we had all our coaching positions filled and had great numbers," she said.
"It (year off) has probably changed things slightly and people have realised it's really nice to have their weekends. I think it will be harder, but we'll be fine once people get back to their routines after holidays."
Savage told The Daily Advertiser in November the club is keen for some new faces with fresh ideas to lead the club.
"I've done four years and I thought someone should take over the role, look for a president with new ideas and look for people to give them a hand," Savage said.
"There's a few people around the club that could do it quite easily. There's a group of us looking around to try and bring some younger people in the club and build from there, and we'll always be there to support them anyway."
