Plans are in the works for a new venue for Flip Out, with the trampoline centre set to move locations early this year.
The current venue will shut its doors at the end of the month, with a development application currently underway for the refurbishment of an empty Copland Street warehouse.
Owner Jody Harris said the business needed to locate after the impact of coronavirus made it difficult to pay the rent.
The centre was closed for just over 12 weeks in 2020, including through the lucrative Easter school holiday period.
"That was a struggle for us, we nearly actually shut the doors completely," Mrs Harris said.
"We rely on our holiday periods to pull us through here."
The development application for the 2103 square metre warehouse at 73 Copland Street includes a trampoline area, dedicated children's area, foam pit and mezzanine with two party rooms and 26 parking spaces.
Mrs Harris said the new facility would undergo a complete refurbishment, with plenty of exciting additions including a double slide from the party rooms down to the platform.
She said the centre would have air conditioning unlike the current facility, which would stop them needing to close when summer holiday temperatures rose too high.
"That'd be one bonus we won't have to worry about," she said.
"It's really new and exciting the new building that's coming."

Mrs Harris said the time of re-opening was dependent on council approval, but they were hoping for an exclusive 'soft opening' in late March.
