The annual event is an opportunity to view the scenery of the region while getting to know community leaders, with the 2021 trek to be led by Eden Monaro MP Kristy McBain and Snowy Valleys mayor James Hayes.
Cr Hayes said this year's trek would be an opportunity to showcase how far the town had come since the Dunns Road bushfire came through the area a year ago.
"Last year's trek was an especially poignant one with participants getting to see firsthand how close the Dunns Road bushfire came to the township of Tumbarumba and provided opportunity for council to advocate on behalf of the whole region for ongoing bushfire recovery support," he said.
"This year we are pleased to be able to host the event as a showcase of the region's renewal 12 months on from those devastating times and an opportunity for more informal talks about ongoing recovery support."
Community members are invited to register for the event, with $20 entry for adults and $10 for children with transport and food included.
The event is a medium difficulty walk and has been designed to be COVID-safe, with participants asked not to attend if they become ill.
Registrations can be made by email at kbradley@svc.nsw.gov.au before February 10.
