Sent out as a $1.50 favourite, Bravado Lass certainly justified her quote as she put pay to her rivals in the feature of the day.
Settling right on the speed, Bravado Lass went straight past leader Intueri ($11) at the top of the home straight before extending away to win by over three lengths.
Wagga trainer Gary Colvin is currently on the Gold Coast, but was thrilled to see the mare return to winning ways.
"It was a pretty good race for her," Colvin said.
"It wasn't overly strong as she was crying out for a mile plus she raced on the pace."
It was the eight-year-old's first win since May but she has pleased Colvin in her three runs since resuming from a spell.
"She has been very consistent and raced over 1400 last start to put her up to that mile race," he said.
Colvin is now looking to head with the mare to the Tumbarumba Cup next month.
While back in distance, he expects it will be another good opportunity for the now seven-time winner.
"She will probably go to the Tumbarumba Cup," he said.
"I've got a lot of owners from Tumbarumba and always try to get there every year.
"I'm looking forward to it as I think that will be her go.
"It is only 1400 but we will freshen her up for that."
Tumbarumba's meeting is on February 6.
The win was a fourth on the card for Albury jockey Blaike McDougall.
He combined with Wagga trainer Chris Heywood to win aboard Thuwaany in the opening race.
In the following race he scored with Fire Shadow for Scott Collings before winning the third with Idle Fancy for Darrell Burnet.
Next came Bravado Lass in the feature.
However Jordan Mallyon ended the perfect sequence by taking out the fifth with Shadow Company for Mitch Beer as McDougall had to settle for fifth before McDougall finished second in the sixth and final race with Danetree Belle beaten by Force Awakens for Cooma trainer Kevin Byrne.
