Jumping straight to the lead in the Ladbrokes Back Yourself Maiden (320m), Got A Group ($3.30) saw off a midrace challenge from Sycamore Iris ($2.80) to win at start two.
Extending away in the straight, Got A Group went on to win by over two lengths in 18.44 seconds.
Wagga trainer Peter Dooner was pleased with her winning effort.
"She is a very handy bitch," Dooner said.
"She is one of many in the litter who is going ok."
Dooner has already tasted success with Got A Jimmy and Got A Trump from the Allen Deed - Margaret Keeping litter.
Gotta Bounce, from an earlier litter by Head Bounce, has won eight of his 30 starts for Dooner with another eight placings.
However Got A Group has taken a little more time.
"She is one of the first (from the litter) but she has had a bit of a hiccup," Dooner said.
However she improved from her first race last month.
Favourite Saloso ($2.40) missed the start for Ray Sims and from there was never a winning threat but rallied well to finish fourth.
Dooner was more than happy to take the stroke of luck.
"She tries her heart out so she will probably go through the grades," he said.
"We will just have to see and hopefully she will get a bit further."
Got A Trump, who was part of a hat-trick from Dooner last week, finished second later in the night.
However Ralph was another who went one better at start two at Wagga.
Wagga trainer Garry Anesbury had high hopes heading into the Brett Cox Electrical Maiden (320m) and Ralph didn't disappoint.
Taking advantage of barrier one, Ralph was able to lead all the way to win in 18.70 seconds.
