Towers is in the process of shifting his family to Leeton and has four drives across the six-race card on Saturday.
No stranger to the town, with his father growing up there, Towers is looking forward to the change of scenery after plying his trade in Sydney.
"It's just something different," Towers said.
"Dad grew up down that way and while my uncles stayed down there but the old man moved this way and I grew up here (in Sydney)."
Towers has three drives for his godfather Darrell Hillier while he has also picked up a drive on the resuming Dancing Lilly for Graham Looby.
Its Nicholas looms as the best of them in the Robert Pettit Pace (2147m).
The gelding has been placed in its last four starts but has drawn the inside of the second row behind David Druitt's Heavenly Wisdom, who just missed making it consecutive wins at Albury on Tuesday.
Towers hopes it suits.
"He (Its Nicholas) should be behind the leader so should be the best of them by the look of it," he said.
"I don't know much about the one I'm driving in the first for Graham Looby but I drove it's mother up here in Sydney for ages."
Towers is planning on assembling a team of around a handful of horses to train as he gets himself situated in Leeton.
However he is hoping linking with the Hillier stable will help provide the good grounding in the region in the meantime.
"I'll have half a dozen or so just until I get set up," Towers said.
"I've known the whole Hillier since I was a kid so hopefully I can drive a few for them while I'm setting up as a bit of a kick start and then we will see what happens."
Towers will also drive Turbo Bromac and the resuming Ima Droughtbreaker for Hillier.
The first race is at 6.56pm.
