When the school term begins on January 27, the new school zone will become legally enforceable.
"In addition to the new school zone, a children's crossing will be installed, as well as a bus zone and off-road bus stop next to the school on Estella Road," said Jonathan Tasker, NSW South West director for Transport NSW.
Flashing lights and signage will also be installed on Estella Road before the school year re-commences.
Road users are asked to keep an eye out for the changes and to follow the directions of signs.
