COVID-19 VACCINES 'SHOULD NOT BE MADE COMPULSORY'
I believe Scott Morrison has over-ordered by many millions the coronavirus vaccine doses needed for Australia.

Of our 25.5 million people, surely children under 12 years old do not need a vaccination, there being nil fatalities in that age group.
There are many persons in aged care facilities or at home who wished they did not wake up each morning. There's no vaccine needed for them. I have spoken to some who said they would not have the vaccination.
Surely the hundreds of persons in Victoria who have registered for euthanasia would not wish for vaccination. Surprisingly, the reverse is true. Many of these people have been brain-washed into fearing COVID-19 and are preferring to be euthanised.
There are many reasons why vaccinations should not be made compulsory.
The sooner we face COVID-19 the better and then, and only then, will we get herd immunity.
Trying to hide from it only prolongs the inevitability of meeting the COVID-19.

BURNING FOSSIL FUELS IS THE 'KEY DRIVER' OF CLIMATE CHANGE
In response to Robert T Walker's letter "Population growth poses greatest threat to planet" (The Daily Advertiser, January 8) he is mistaken, it's not the number of children that are born at all that is the issue, it's purely that the richest people who have the least children consume more than the poorest people who have more children.
Research from 'Our World In Data' reports the poorest countries consume only 0.5 per cent of emissions. Let's not lose our focus on the key driver to climate change and that is the use of fossil fuels.
The carbon disclosure project states that just 100 companies throughout the world are responsible for 71 per cent of global greenhouse emissions - all are linked to the burning of fossil fuels.
Some from the comfort of their high horse like to point the finger at the poorest countries and blame them for reproducing, but will their kids all have their own car, fly around the world, relax in the comfort of air-conditioning?
Probably not. It's more likely they will use what they have work endless hours to provide for their family but still, given infant mortality rates, lose a child to poverty.
Inequality is also a great threat to the world. Over-consumption has caused our climate to change. It's greed that has created this pandemic.
Robert T Walker, you could help in your own way. You could turn that finger you point at others to yourself and ask yourself what you can do to make a difference.
Reading through Project Drawdown is very promising and a solution-oriented guide to action for all of humanity. It's easy to Google.
My children will make a difference because they have been guided to take care of country and community. They will make a difference because their mother found her fierceness when they were born.
In fact, a recent study published in the Lancet predicts the population will drop by the end of the century due to declining birth rates and an ageing population.
