The 17-year-old ended her breakout year in style by winning two bronze medals at the national track championships in Brisbane in December.
Brooker teamed up with Emily Strumfin to finish third in the under-19 20km madison final for NSW, and also came third in the team pursuit partnering with Haylee Fuller, Georgia Wiltshire and Sarah Cliff.
It capped a superb year for the Tolland Cycling Club member, who also took overall honours at the Griffith Cup and, won her first gold medal at state level in the criterium, as well as silver in the time trial and bronze in the road race.
"I was just going up there for the experience. It's my first year in the senior ranks and I would have been happy with however I went, but I was pretty stoked to come back with some medals," she said.
The national titles are usually held in March, but they were postponed this year due to COVID.
It means Brooker only has three months to prepare for next year's national titles, her final year in the under-19 division, but she's hopeful she can press for a maiden national crown.
"They were supposed to be in March this year but got postponed. I'll have a month or two to train really hard and go again," she said.
"The national road titles are the first weekend in February, I'll do the criterium but not the road race. I've been focusing more on track lately, but we'll see how I go."
Brooker has just returned from competing on Victoria's Christmas track carnival, with the highlight a win in the open wheelrace at Shepparton.
