A NSW Ambulance spokesperson told The Daily Advertiser they were called at about 6.40pm on Boxing Day to Bourke Street near Red Hill Road after reports a car crashed into a house.
"The patient was a 57-year-old male [who] appears to have had a medical episode," they said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"They were taken to Wagga Base Hospital."
The Murrumbidgee Local Health District confirmed that the drivers remains in the intensive care unit at Wagga Base Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
After the incident on December 26, Bourke Street was closed at Red Hill Road to allow emergency services to treat the patient and clear the scene.
